Got Paint? Big Picture Scrapbooking Class...

...with Emily Falconbridge (goddess, she herself!) Whew. Signed in today - just under the gun!! I think the deadline to sign up is tonight? Get on over there and play along! http://www.bigpicturescrapbooking.com/gotpaint.php

So here is my start of the first project...an Art Journal (to hold all the paint techniques we will be learning over the next 4 weeks.) I started painting some chipboard letters for my cover title and realized I did not have an "L" - hence..."Journal" became "Journey" -- works for me!!

Love Miss Emily's style and OH MY the gallery is filling up with some GORGEOUS work. Inspired am I!

Aloha sooz!!!! :) if you go to my blog, you can click on that bright orange strip at the top. it will take you to the site that has TONS of blogger templates! as for the HS paints, i love/hate them...lol! i love them because they are thick and glossy. the paint dries with a really pretty shine...not too shiny though! and it covers beautifully! what i don't like is it feels kinda "sticky" when it is dry. i used it to paint the edges of this mini chipboard album once and it looked great but the pages kinda stuck together at the ends...no biggie really, but the regular acrylics like MM or from the craft store don't do that. but overall i really like her paints! hope that helps you some! aloha!! gosh i love your journal! it's so cool looking!
